Ahhhh, peony. The season is so short, but oh so sweet. The fluttery goodness. This is our last peony of the season, and poetically it seemed to last forever. Until we meet again next year…

i too lament the end of the peony season every year…but that is what makes it that much more special. i will be counting the months and weeks until next season….

Really, Ted? Here in New England the peonies bloomed back around Memorial Day and only lasted one week! That’s quite a difference-must be that our climates are so different. Very jealous!
