		<description>You are so right, a gift that has been handmade, or grown or cooked by someone we care about is even more precious. I was once given tomatoes that weren&#039;t quite ripe by a dear friend. I put them in the windowsill above my sink and watched for days how beautiful they became as they ripened. It was such a simple thing, but it gave me so much pleasure.
