Laura--that comment made me smile from ear to ear!!! Thank you for that. So happy you enjoyt the blog. Nope, never the 'Sunday night blues" as a friend calls them. I am pretty darn lucky, and I thank my lucky stars each and every day. As for storage, we have a rule in our house, if an object is brought in, then one must exit, so it keeps me only bringing in the stuff we can't live without. Merci again, for such a great comment & ?'s. Bestest, Ted

Hi Ted - Great post, as usual. Tulips are my favorite flower as well (lived in the Netherlands for 3 years) and my cat's name is Tulip. I always look forward to them appearing in the market in the spring.....have never seen them in October, tho! Your table is beautiful.

Oh, for crying out loud! I AM going to move in and live in your blog pages... I don't care if it's "wrong"! From the Glassybaby candles to the TULIPS IN OCTOBER you have me mesmerized. Maybe you could offer TKW Intern Weekends? Where one could come and take copious notes on fine living and decor while eating a sandwich in the corner as you go about your daily life?

Your photos are blissful! Seriously. Do you ever have "storage nightmares" or "too much stuff" weighing on your brain? Does working for yourself relieve you of that "oh, no...tomorrow is a work day" on Sunday night?

The letters, the textures, the tulips, all highlighted by your wonderful styling! Once again I face the same problem that occurs when I see one of your newly styled window displays. I think this is it, the best yet! And then you do another one and I think, no, wait, this is it...and the cycle continually repeats itself (in a very, very good way). Well done again, Mr. W!

Hi Patricia--I so agree about the white plates and platters. They are so versatile. I also think they really make the food stand out. Happy you liked the table! Have a fun Sunday, Ted

Your table is absolutely lovely. I always feel that you can never go wrong with white. I have 12 white plates that I use all the time, and they can be dressed up on special occasions by what I have on the table with them. Large white serving platters and bowls are also a favorite of mine.
Thanks for the peek at your table!
