White Dahlias

20140713-075518.jpg There are certain things that are markers to a season for me. Dahlias equate Summer in my mind. They are just so hearty, standing up to the heat of July & August. But they are also so fluttery, and so ruffly, and so pretty. A great contrast. Each season my first bundle I buy at the Market is always white. Not sure why, I guess I just like the clean look of them, kind of a ‘pure as the driven snow’ aspect to them. Enjoyed yesterday by all at the shop for the day while I worked, they then ventured over on the ferry and will grace the Sunday dinner table with guests later today. Hearty little beauties indeed.
Happy day from WW.

  1. Ted,
I am wondering if you plan in doing a book signing in Tacoma? I love your book and have gotten lots of ideas from it. Thank you, Gina T

  2. Hi Gina! I don’t have Tacoma on my list at the moment, but I am happy to personalize and sign a book and ship it to you if you would like. Just let me know. Bestest, Ted
