Hawthorne Hydrangea Happiness

July 15, 2015

20150715-082650.jpg There are hydrangea bushes in front of the house as well as along the sides in back, offering plenty of blooms for us to cut and enjoy inside. I find it very hard to relax fully until there are at least a few blooms set about. Flowers just add life to a space. They can be so calming. First thing I did Monday morning was go out and cut a bunch of stems to get the house happy. I have written in the past about the awakening process. The house just seems to come alive as we open windows, turn on lights, play a little music, spray some room spray, light a few candles, and last but certainly not least, place a few flowers here and there.
