Day Trois in a Year of Flowers

I promise day three will conclude our flower tour of the year. It has been such a treat choosing the images for this re-cap. It makes me so appreciative of all the places I find blooms–the Market, the grocery store, our yard, floral shops, farmers markets. I am always on the hunt for what looks the freshest and most interesting. As I mentioned the other day, the joy they bring is immeasurable.

  1. Hello,
So many of these arrangements are simply gorgeous, particularly the ones using many single blooms in beautiful glassware. And fresh flowers are an affordable way to bring beauty into a home.
I am writing as a recent fan of your blog and book to say that I roasted a whole chicken forthe first time in my life following the “C” is for chicken recipe in Style & Simplicity, and it turned out perfectly was was scrumptious indeed! Made a resolurion to choose one entry from the book each week of the new year and try it in my own home. Best wishes for2016. Sincerely, a reader from San Francisco.

  2. Thanks for 3 days of bliss!

  3. I LOVE that!!! You made my day–thanks you!
    Ted
