The Colors of September 

Notice, I said September and not Autumn as I am still clinging to the last breathes of Summer. Insert smiling face. As yes indeed, both in New York and Seattle, there is that gloriously grand bit of crisp in the air that so many of us adore. We can call it the late, late Summer crisp… The colors in this big bowl of Seckel pears mimicking all the colors I am seeing outside at the moment. Burnished faded yellows and greens and reds.
