The flowering jasmine outside the window won’t bloom for quite some time, but the vines inside gave us a beautiful gift this week. Sort of a welcome to Spring. Almost as if to say it is almost here! The apartment will start to smell pretty heavenly this next month as the blooms start to do their magic. I’ll keep you posted…

Artist & friend Jeanne McKay Hartmann’s rose windows were such a sensation last Spring we thought she needed to do an homage to our beloved tulips which are such a big part of the beauty in the Pacific Northwest this time of year. She has just begun painting today. More to come…

A Quick Market Shop Window Refresh

Our new extended shop hours went into play the beginning of the month and my day to be at the Market shop is now on Monday. Come see me if you are in the hood! Yesterday I did a small refresh in the window in between customers. A nod to Spring and Easter with hits of yellow and birds and flowers. Doing the windows always gives me a creative boost. Up next, the First & Spring shop windows. Heather and Jeanne doing their paint magic in the next few days. Thursday I get to play in the windows and create a little of my own magic. A Fluttery Bunch

Flower Friday all about a pink bundle of ruffly tulips I picked up at the Market for our Sunday brunch last week that just got better and better as the week progressed. I love how they begin to change color a bit each day. On this first day of March the tulips seeming to signal Spring rapidly approaching. Everyone have a lovely weekend. X, T
