Broccoli Leaves

We found some beautiful broccoli at an organic farm stand the other day. What I was most thrilled with were the incredible leaves that were still attached. Most times at the grocery store, the broccoli is cut into pieces or just a whole head. Once home, I removed the leaves, cleaned the bottom part of the stem, and placed them upright in a drinking glass. I took them to the Home shop the next day, and they have been living happily in one of the window displays. They still look fab, and I have a feeling they will last for some time. They are quite hearty and are just the most beautiful shades of green.
