Lucite Chiavari Chairs

I have always thought there was a glamorous-ness around the look of a ballroom, or Chiavari, chair. You see them in photos of dinners held at The White House, or you sit on them at lovely weddings held at lovely locals. I was very excited to find them now offered in lucite. They are a mix of very traditional, with a bit of modern thrown in.

A brief history. The chairs are named after the coastal Italian town of Chiavari where the the gentleman who created them lived. The original design dates back to 1807. It is fun to see such a classic design offered in such a fresh way.
