A well stocked larder can be a beautiful thing. Having jars & bottles of food on hand just makes life so much easier when you find yourself rushed or in a pinch. Here are a few new treats we have recently started carrying that I would always be happy to grab at a moments notice out of the fridge or cupboard, to whip something up.
This Meyer lemon marmalade, from famed McEvoy Ranch, is not only fab on toast. Mixed with a bit of Dijon mustard, it would be lovely topping a roasted chicken breast.
I am not a big fan of bottled dressings, but this one is an exception. The smokiness of the bacon, mixed with the tart of the balsamic–I would serve this at any special dinner. It is that good.
Chocolate caramel sauce. Just typing that made my mouth water, and it is 7:45 on a Sunday morning. A go-to dessert in our house is heated caramel sauce on the bottom of the bowl, ice cream on top, and berries on top of that. We will always have a jar of this in the fridge at the ready.
