I thought the book ‘Porch Living’ seemed like the right fit for a Memorial Day post, and a kick-off to Summer.

Written by James T. Farmer III, a Southern gentleman with a landscape & interiors background, he captures the essence of a relaxed porch living style.

He shows stylish ways to make the porch a very livable space, by setting up the room much as you would a sitting area in your living room.

It is also filled with many sumptuous table settings, as no porch would be complete without room to dine and savor a beverage. As well as dream away a breezy, Summer afternoon.
