Star of Bethlehem ‘Ornithogalum’ Flower

These little gems are a flower I use quite a bit during the Holidays as they open quite beautifully, and seem to last forever. The common name of the flower is Star of Bethlehem, as the blooms look like little stars.

I really like how curvy the stems become. They look great in simple vases doing a little dance.

But, of course, I like them best as a single stem in vintage jars set about the shops. The singular beauty of the little blooms the focal point.
