Americana with Our Spin

The rescheduled photo shoot for our place on the island took place on Sunday early evening. It was one of those Summer days were you walk around in a bit of a daze, it is just so darn good. It was 90 degrees at almost 9 in the evening and the light was just extraordinary. I took a bunch of shots on my phone before the photographer arrived at 5:30. I thought I would share them with you today, as it seems fitting given that it is the 4th. Our WestWard house is nestled into a 2 acre spot in the hillside overlooking Colvos Passage. There are several other structures along the way, as it is 8 good sized flights of stairs down to get to the main house, we like to refer to as the clubhouse. When we bought it, the house was red. We kept it that red and decided to put our spin of Americana on the home and grounds. It resembles very little of what it was like on that first day. Here is a glance both inside and out.
