White Lily Love

The Market flower stalls this Saturday still had a profusion of dahlias, which makes me so happy. But what really caught me eye and tugged on my heart were the white lilies. I love how tight the buds begin and how glorious they unfold into a lovely lily. Something about the white I just like at home and the shops. They are there in full force, but yet they kind of blend in. Whether singly or massed together, they are just spectacular at this time of year. And the scent! I love coming home after a long day, opening the front door, and being greeted with their unmistakable heady fragrance.
