{Flower Friday} some paperwhites in full bloom in our entry hall in front of a piece of artwork that is 3D by our friend the artist Ted Grudowski. The statues that are part of it having a sort of ‘The White Lotus’ vibe. We watched the latest episode last night. The Italian alabaster lamp and design on the silk shade pulling the thematic vignette all together. Happy December week-end all. Hope you are enjoying the heck out of the holidays! XX, TKW

I titled this ‘Snow Day’ but it should be called ‘Snow Very Early Morning’ for it is a quite early ski. As many of you know, I am not super outdoorsy. Add to that being cold, and I am pretty much out of the equation. Not my husband. If Mister Sive can be out in the snow, he is a very happy man. The photo is from the other morning when he went cross country skiing with our niece Haley. She also snapped this photo. They have a tradition of going early morning skiing about an hour and a half out of Seattle. She picks him up at 6 a.m. and they are often the first car in the lot next to the trail that they quite like. I love this capture as it really shows the beauty of the Pacific Northwest in many forms. Look at those awesome trees! I might not love being in the snow but I absolutely love looking at it. {Flower Friday} about a candlelit room and the paperwhites set here & there while beginning their bloom. Absolutely paperwhite narcissus love on my end of the highest order. They so speak of the season to me. We are in full on ‘holiday mode‘ at the shops but the apartment is nice and tranquil. I quite like the contrast. Hope everyone is well and enjoying December.
