Saturday at The Market

November 25, 2017

I write often of my ritual Saturday morning stroll through the Pike Place Market perusing all the flowers deciding which get to travel home with me for us to enjoy for the week. Thursday marked the 19th anniversary of our Market shop, and I still to this day get a rush of excitement when I put the key into the shop door, knowing a fun day awaits. It truly is an honor to be a small part of the history of the Market. As we head into our 20th Holiday season, I am filled with amazing memories from over the years of conversations, interactions, experiences. For any of you who have been to my 86 Pine shop, you know of the specialness of the courtyard. If you are in Seattle today, please stop in for a glass of bubbly or sparkling cider for our annual Anniversary Holiday Open House. I would love to see you. If you are a reader of the blog, please make mention of it to me–that always makes my day… For those of you who have never been to Seattle, put it on your list. It really is such a cool place on many levels, and a visit to the historic Public Market is a must.
