In The Light

We were finishing up the second of a two day re-display at the Market shop on Tuesday when the sun came shining through the big window behind the wrap stand. The light illuminating the front display. It was a stand back, take a deep breath, give thanks sort of moment. When you have worked like crazy and you just need a moment to take it all in. Being a shopkeeper, I get to wear lots of hats. This time of year those hats get changed multiple times a day. But like all of us when we get busy, we must take a second or many to stop and appreciate our work in that very moment and savor the light.
