A Big Bunch of Hydrangea

December 6, 2019

During the Holiday retail marathon, I reach for beauty and rest whenever and wherever I can find it. A quick grocery store run can produce a simple bouquet that feeds our souls when at home. Flower Friday this week is a big bunch of hydrangea that could not be simpler, but I love it so much. A big hit of green! A glass compote we have had since my showroom days was called into action. The stems are cut short so the heads are just above the rim of the container. Start placing them around the rim and work your way inward. You end up creating a ball shaped arrangement that is tight, where the blooms take center stage. Refresh the water and give a fresh cut every few days. We have been enjoying this gem for several weeks now. Hope your December is moving along swimmingly. Have the best week-end!
