Happy Field Tulips In Town

These crazy beautiful tulips were a beyond perfect gift from our friend Jeanne the other day. Along with the watercolor she painted of one of our shop windows I posted about the other day. She dropped the tulips off on the front steps of The Gainsborough as I watched from inside the lobby looking out the glass fronted door, keeping at least 6 feet between us. What a unique world we are living in at this moment. It felt so odd not to be able to rush out and give her a hug, send her big thanks and chat a bit. So I threw out my arms in a big hug like fashion as that had to do the trick. They will make us quite happy this week on the dining table in town.
