Captivating Camellia

Our friend Barb, who is also a WK family member, dropped off bucket after bucket of blooms for me from her dreamy yard. Perfectly timed as she knew I would be shooting away at my book this weekend. These camellia just had to be the Flower Friday stars of the week. The greens are incredibly hardy while the flowers are super delicate. A lovely contrast. When I woke up this morning, several of the blooms had already fallen off and left a puddle of petals for me. Like a little gift on this morning. Poetic really. Such beautiful, beautiful flowers.
