White Lilacs

When our niece Haley texted us and asked if we wanted any lilacs from her backyard, I could not hit the reply button fast enough. Lilacs in general hold a special place in my heart, but the white ones an extra special spot. They are making our guest room/office extra cozy this week. Not that we have any guests coming, but it makes sitting at the desk a visual delight. The scent, heavenly. Thought they would be the perfect Flower Friday blooms. My love affair with lilacs began when we bought Hawthorne. There is a huge lilac bush at the front of the property right as you pull into the long driveway. The first year in May when we were there, TPS would cut armloads for me to play with around the house. Since then, I have been hooked.
