Happy May Day

Flower Friday is also May Day this year. Lilacs are on the menu. We are missing our Hawthorne terribly so going through old images a soothing salve. Mister Sive cut armloads of lilacs for me to play with that first May after we had bought the house, now 7 years ago. It is such a happy memory. This photo from then. We had not even painted the front door green yet! But this too shall pass and we will be back at our little slice of Hudson Valley heaven. As always though, we all must be grateful for each and every day. That is my focus. Sending tons of ‘stay healthy’ vibes to each and every one of you. Plus much, much love. Ted
