Traveling Herbs

June 12, 2020

The herb bouquets I ran down the middle of the zinc dining table outside at WestWard made the ferry ride back into Seattle. Well traveled little herbs. I then massed them together in a green pitcher for us to enjoy for the week on the dining table in town. They are our Flower Friday offering. The thyme flowering with the tiniest of sweet blooms. Herbs give you great bang for the buck. Not only are they pretty to look at, but I have been snipping them along the way using them in a variety of dishes. The sage leaves will dry in place and I will put them in a glass jar when all is said and done and we will use them in Autumn when Mister Sive makes his butternut squash & sausage lasagna.

Hope everyone is staying well and hanging in there. Some of these days feel like weeks. Take it easy. Get lots of rest. Call someone and tell them you love them. Sending tons of love to you. Ted
