Bailey Turns 15!

Our sweet & feisty Bailey turns 15 today! Born in Minnesota she is good Midwestern stock like her daddy Watson. Big smile or eye roll, you decide. For all of you who have met her while shopping knows she is a shopgirl at heart. When she comes barreling out of the office barking at everyone to let all know who’s boss. A mini of a miniature Schnauzer weighing in at eleven pounds, she has the heart & soul of a gentle lion. For all of you who sent messages to us these last few months, thank you, thank you. She is responding wonderfully to the seizure medicine, knock wood. She has to have it every eight hours so it means a very early wake up call. I have written this before but we feel it so much–it is such an honor to care for her in these advanced years. Her hearing gone and her sight not far behind. Arthritis and back issues. As my mom used to say to me, “Getting old is not for the faint of heart.” But what a gift it really is, as not all four or two legged creatures get to experience it. Once again Bailey is teaching us.
