A Big Bundle of Bay

My friend Catherine, along with her family, surprised me on Saturday at the Market shop. In her arms was a big bundle of bay stems. It was extraordinary. I had never seen anything quite like it. She told me they would dry beautifully and we would be cooking with them in the new year. I gave them a quick snip and had them quickly in the big picture window looking out to the Market and the water beyond for all to enjoy. Had to share with you all too! Am sure they will work in to a Wine & Dine Wednesday post in the future. But for today, we are just going to enjoy the sheer volume of their beauty.
