Shadows and Yellow Tulips

The other morning it was bitter cold and clear as a bell in the Hudson Valley as the sun was coming up creating all sorts of lovely shadows in our bedroom. The yellow tulips taking on an even more deeply yellow hue. Thought these would be the perfect Flower Friday blooms for the week. Old English bottles, which are incredibly thick and beautifully heartily made are always on my list when we are out & about hunting for vintage finds. They make perfect single stem vessels as their heft makes them much tougher to knock over. Plus they look great all alone or grouped together.
