Happy St. Patrick’s Day

In honor of the day, an all green table at Hawthorne. For today the H can stand for Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Think I have written about this before, but growing up the day was very big in our household given our Irish heritage on my Mother’s side. She would dye her hair green, and it would be an all-day well into the late evening celebration. The scent of corned beef and cabbage wafted about the air. As a kid seeing my parents celebrate in such a joyous way was so cool. They would dance about the house. Laughter and family stories filled the day. Such incredibly fond memories. If you celebrate it today, have just the best day! I have my green tennis shoes and green shirt set out in preparation for the day.
