The Poppies Take Their Final Bow

Flower Friday all about the heavenly poppies that gave us one heck of a show all week on the dining table. I collected the blooms that still had some kick left and put them in a simple Juliska clear vessel and moved them by the window in the kitchen. The stage was set for their final performance. My eye would catch them as I walked in and out of the room bringing me tons of joy. They can have an otherworldly look—the petals so incredibly thin, like crepe paper.
