A Favorite

I try not to play favorites in life, but if pressed, these absolutely would be my favorite tulips. Dreamy in every way. Closed, open, fully blown open and on their last bit. The variations of oranges, yellows and greens always stops me in my tracks. Having a favorite reminds me of the episode in The Crown where the Queen won’t say who her favorite child is, when it is clear to everyone close to her who it is. Makes me laugh.
