The First Peony Of The Season

Flower Friday all about the dreamy, ruffly fluttery peony and its singular extraordinary beauty. The first of the season for us, which always hold a special place. Mister Sive cut a bunch for me as I was waiting in the car with Bailey for us all to head to the Newark airport as we wrapped up our Hawthorne stay. The bundle of blooms were the star of the Alaska flight as we headed West. The first peony to open receiving a place of honor in the bulbous Baccarat single stem vase on the dining table for us to enjoy for the week. The rest of the bunch all nestled together waiting to explode. Happy first June week-end all! X, T2+B
