We have a grouping of limelight hydrangea in front of the house. One of the very large branches died this winter. TPS masterfully cut it back creating one beautiful branch that was just too beautiful not to find a home for. We had found this large vintage handled drum last year that was just sitting there looking handsome as an object. It is now holding said branch and filling up the corner of the back porch quite nicely. Making the most out of things can be one of the best ways to get the creative juices flowing. {Flower Friday} about a bundle of grocery store carnations that are always great in a pinch. Overnight guests for supper so a few low and tight vessels for the dining table and we are off and running. So often I think folks fear cutting really long stemmed flowers and making them super short. I say, clip away! The emphasis is the bloom, so doing whatever highlights the flower is key. Everyone have a lovely Friday and a stellar weekend. Off to Trade Secrets early tomorrow morning in CT and I can hardly wait! Sending love from the Hudson Valley, T2+B
