Summer Attire

We just finished up a record setting run of heat here in the Pacific Northwest. This morning we are back to our normal somewhat cool weather. Both having me thinking about the clothes we wear when the sun starts to shine. How certain pieces of attire absolutely speak to the season. For me madras and stripes are my go-to Summer essentials. The moment they start in the line-up I just know sunny days await. I love how we find comfort in the tradition of certain items to wear as the season dictates. It is just a little detail, but one that is worth noting, as it can bring lots of joy. It really does always come back to the simple pleasures that we fill up our life with. X, T
