Flowering Oregano

August 10, 2021

The vintage buckets that we planted up with herbs months ago loving all this sunshine. We have been using the fresh herbs they produce as often as we can, but it still looks like we have hardly touched them, they are so prolific. The oregano in particular, flowering so beautifully. The stems as lovely as any ‘flower’ as each produces the sweetest little cluster of tiny white blooms. I just had to share. We head to Hawthorne tomorrow so TPS cut a bunch of them back so we will see how they do for a few weeks in a vase with water. Think these would be gorgeous scattered about a big salad or a pizza grilled on the barbecue.
