Silverware At The Ready

Putting the apartment back together these past weeks has not just been about the living room. It has been a chance to give lots of areas a refresh. The kitchen was in need, primarily the drawers. Our silverware collection has grown over the last few years. Opening up certain drawers to get things out to set the table became a bit like searching for puzzle pieces. I have always loved glass jars, particularly Weck jars. They have a nice, heavy utilitarian look & feel to them. A simple trio became the spot where 2 place settings of an assortment of silverware lives. Now setting the table for just the two of us is a breeze. Plus I really like how they look—where form and function meet.
