Newly Snipped Hyacinth

February 4, 2022

The potted hyacinth I picked up the day after we returned from New York were such a treat watching grow all week. From little stalks to fully flowered blooms in no time at all. Over the weekend when we were at WestWard they grew like mad. Several blooms had started to fall over from the top heavy weight of the flowers once they began to open. I snipped all the stems to make a sweet stellar easy arrangement in a handsome Atlas vase that was a wedding gift to us now many years ago from our cherished CoCo. The Hugo Guinness painting looking after the blooming bundle for us. They just had to be our Flower Friday pick for the week.

Happy first weekend in February everyone!
