Parsley In A Pinch

Herbs can be a fab replacement for flowers when blooms are not readily available. We headed to the island after I closed up shop on Sunday. A quick stop at our favorite farm stand produced this lovely bouquet of parsley. The next stop was the grocery store, where nothing struck our fancy. Parsley it would be! A simple table for two was on the menu. Mister Sive was whipping up chicken cacciatore. The sun was just setting as we sat for supper. Loving how it is so much lighter later and later. Spring is coming. The long zinc dining table at the ready for alfresco dining. But for now it is a roaring fire and Bailey snoring away on her pillow as we break bread after a busy week.
