A Single Bloom As A Welcome Back

June 7, 2022

I had snipped a geranium stem and put it in a glass by the kitchen sink window before we headed to New York. It had not started to flower yet. It quite liked its new home as it bloomed beautifully while we were away and was a delightful treat when we arrived to WestWard yesterday. A little gift with big impact. It graced our supper table outside last night, the lone flowers with the spotlight squarely centered right on it. It was ready for its close-up. The simplest of things often the very best.
