{Flower Friday} all about these waxed amaryllis bulbs that have become so popular the last few years. We have enjoyed them the last two Christmas seasons, and this year I found a gold dipped one to grace the dining table. At each supper we marvel at the beauty and how much it grows each day, excited to see the first bloom. This one has many weeks to go. Encasing the bulb in the wax must somehow lock in enough moisture that the amaryllis bulb gets enough of what it needs to create its magic. Happy first day of December everyone! X, T

As the celebratory Watson Kennedy 25th anniversary month of November draws to a close, I want to send out a big THANK YOU to all who made it so special and a great memory. To me, a life well lived is about savoring the moments. Small and big. That absolutely relates to how I shopkeep—it is all about the moments. How does a customer feel in the space? Someone I admire tremendously recently told me that in public speaking, folks often don’t remember what is said, but how they feel. It has always been my goal that customers feel transported when in the shops.
