To say that we are incredibly honored to be a small part of the story of the historic Holyoke Building would be major understatement. Our love for this iconic Seattle building runs deep. Mister Sive was first part of it when he was a partner at Lease Crutcher Lewis, a construction firm, earlier in his career. His office was on the top floor of the building in the corner looking out to First Avenue. Later I opened the second Watson Kennedy on the ground floor, retail level. It has always been one of our very favorite buildings in Seattle. The last few days it has been getting a little refresh. Sort of a cut and color, but for a structure. Oh what a new coat of paint will do to instantly spiff up something already so handsome. The WK windows getting a new coat too next week with a bright green in preparation for the book signing party on the 23rd. The gloriously sunny day yesterday allowing me to snap away to capture our part of the frontage in all its refreshed beauty.
