A Gift Finding Its Home

Our friend Elizabeth gave us a lovely gift of a John Derian four leaf clover tray when we saw her a few weeks ago in Millbrook. I have wanted to incorporate it into one of the tabletops around the house. It got moved several places before it landed on the dresser top in our room with a variety of other green and natural things, mixed in with lots of vintage finds. Often, you just need to live with a new treasure for awhile in a host of spots before you find where it looks best and where you will most enjoy seeing it throughout your day.
