For when guests first arrive and you want to have a nice long leisurely afternoon chatting before a later supper, put out a variety of tasty things for you all to enjoy. Pate, cheeses, sardines, dips, an assortment of crackers & breads, nuts, a big bowl of cherries and tiny tomatoes. Variety is key both visually and to appeal to differing palates.
