Parsley In A Pinch

Flower Friday about the use of herbs in place of flowers and being quite happy about it. We have these big herb buckets we get each year at one of our favorite farm stands close to the house. They have a hearty mix of herbs in them which is incredibly handy as we cook away but they are also quite fetching looking. One of them had a big bunch of parsley growing that needed to be trimmed back. I had just bought two small vintage vessels at my beloved Red Chair on Warren in Hudson and really wanted to use them on the dining table the second I unpacked them out of the bag. The perky parsley to the rescue! A reminder that the simplest of things can be so beautiful and to not overlook them. The vibrant deep green fitting right in. Happy weekend everyone! T
