Clever Kindness

This is sort of a two part post, as my Tuesday post vanished into thin air. So I am posting it now. 99% of the time I write my blog post the moment I wake up. I think best early in the morning and my head is nice and clear. Every once in awhile something gets in the way and I wait to write the blog when I get to the shop. Never my first choice, as by then my brain is working away on lots of other projects. Is what happened the other day. Think I forgot to hit ‘send’ and then the post just went away as not finding it in any folder. Oh well. If that is my biggest disappointment of the week, I am a lucky man. Now the post!

I arrived to the shop and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted the tiniest little duck. I immediately started laughing and calling for everyone working inside the shop to rush out to see it. Someone had put this tiny duck on the outside ledge of the window, right in front of the very large, actually let’s say grande, rubber duck. What a funny and clever and kind gesture. I am still chuckling about it days after. We have no idea who set it there, which in a way makes it even better. The clever kindness of a stranger. I have moved the baby inside, as part of the vignette. It has found a loving home.
