The Hydrangea Love Continues

Flower Friday brings more hydrangea love. The limelights are turning a lovely wine color as Autumn takes its hold. Such a beautiful time of year. This image is the front of Little Hawthorne. It is the house next door on our property that we are turning into our guest house. The project has been pretty top of the list this stay. The hydrangea we planted a few years back have just done incredibly well in front of the house. They have even begun to grow through the rails on the front stoop! Softening the front of the house and giving it flowery visual interest was our goal, and the limelight hydrangea did just that. TPS clipped back a bunch at both houses and the blooms are just waiting for me to play with them in a big dried arrangement. It is on my list for this weekend. Have a lovely one. X, Ted
