The Holiday Windows Begin

As November begins thought it fitting to kick-off the season with the first of our holiday windows. A woodsy, preppy assemblage of some of my very favorite things. Faux bois walls the background for the setting, that Heather painted so beautifully. Then lots of artwork and a vintage tennis racket and English mirror I have such a fondness for. I found this divine huge piece of super old French ticking that Carrie made into pillows for me. Some with a Pierre Frey whimsical letter added to them from a duvet that we sold at the Market shop long ago. Plus loads of hotel silver and Italian Murano glass and a bottle of Champagne to add a festive air. These windows are deeply personal and so much darn fun to create. Today the second one is on the menu and tomorrow the Market shop gets its first ever full sized tree for its window. I will sleep quite well Sunday morning!
