Bringing The Outside In

This Flower Friday all about bringing the outside in. In many ways. From potted plants, to single stems, herbs, potted bulbs & waxed bulbs, topiary, as well as paper flowers. Our apartment in town a rotating mix of all the above at any given time. It feels so good to have life growing and blooming at all different times. Everything except the paper blooms take care. Watering and clipping and moving around so things are best suited to the light. It slows you down a bit and puts you right into the moment—all a very good thing in my book. The world doesn’t seem as big or at times so overwhelming. These sweet little blooms feed the soul in a big way, bringing bits of joy as we walk from room to room. The flowering jasmine literally growing from the outside in, beginning to flower inside from the heat of the living room, where they won’t bloom outside for many months. The waxed amaryllis that produced the most magnificent flowers during the holidays gave us the most magical little bloom just as Spring began. Everyone have a lovely, lovely last weekend of March.
