Mirabeau Riviera Dry Rose Gin

May 21, 2025

Wine & Dine Wednesday about a fabulous new gin we have been enjoying this week from Maison Mirabeau, the fine folks who create the lovely rosé we have been selling like crazy at the shop and I am wild about. Their pink hued rosé gin is not quite like any we have had before. We made G&Ts the other evening when we were toasting the completion of the guest cottage. A big slice of orange complimented it perfectly along with my favorite Fever Tree tonic. The gin has an herb-y citrus vibe both of us liked in a big way.

Notes from the maker: At its core Mirabeau Gin is a classic Dry Gin. Mirabeau has used a 100% grape-based neutral spirit which adds roundness and subtle fruitiness to the palate. Lemons and Coriander add layers of fresh citrus character. Orris and Angelica roots impart floral and earthy tones respectively. Rose Petals, Lavender and Jasmine are used sparingly to bring a variety of floral tones. Finally, Bay, Thyme and Rosemary add a finely balanced herbaceous character to the blend. The various components bring a softness to a classic core, making this gin round enough to be sipped alone. Mirabeau suggests adding a dry vermouth for the perfect Martini or topping with your favorite tonic.
