Little Hawthorne Bookshelves

The Hawthorne guest cottage, which we are calling Little Hawthorne has been such a joy to work on this past year. While every home is a work in progress, and we absolutely will be adding and layering more things over years, the bones are in place. Books play a big part of our lives. So getting an assortment of things for guest to read/peruse was important to us. We also liked the idea of having the same bookshelves that we have in the other house. The goal has been to make both structures feel a connection even though they were built at different times. The table underneath it a place to sit and read or write or just ponder. Or have a meal while working away on a project.
