A Memorable Gift Finds A Home

We were given many years ago a beautiful vintage birdcage that had been fashioned into a light fixture. It came from the glorious home of Nancy Wells in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. A home we had spent many memorable evenings having supper with Nancy and her daughter Cara. We were waiting for the perfect spot for it. Not sure why we did not think of the dining room at Hawthorne right off the bat. But some things just have to happen at the right moment. Loving how it makes the dining room extra cozy. Plus, we love any chance possible to use an Edison bulb! Think Nancy would absolutely have approved.
